Founder, curriculum developer and teacher, all in one. Straight to your child.

Hi! I'm Teacher Ming Yong, and I believe that parents should never have to worry about who's teaching their child next week, or whether that teacher truly understands what they're teaching.

That's why, at Write with Wings, I develop the entire curriculum, create all the learning materials, and personally conduct every lesson!

(that also means cleaning the toilet myself, but hey, it is what it is)

My background

I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Psychology, focusing on Education and Cognition (how people think and learn).

I always had my own unique ideas of how English and writing should be taught in effective and engaging ways. Thus, instead of joining a government school, I set out to teach all by myself, and eventually opened my own tuition centre, with more than 50 students in its first year.

It's a lot of work, but seeing my students improve in their grades and enjoy coming to class makes it all worth it!
